Camp Bayou Outdoor Learning Center

The Camp Bayou Outdoor Learning Center is a 160 acre nature preserve run entirely by volunteers. It is operated in partnership with the non-profit Bayou Outdoor Learning and Discovery, Inc. (BOLD) and our Conservation and Environmental Lands Management department. The canoe launch, visitor’s center, nature center, trails, butterfly habitat and native camp are open for you to visit.

Camp Bayou also offers youth programs to explore nature topics to help understand and appreciate Florida’s outdoor beauty and biodiversity. Students engage in activities that bring them up close and personal with the world around them, with a Florida focus.
