Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Summer Camp

Looking for something for your kids and teens to do during the summer? We offer camps from traditional and teens to specialty camps, and we have a variety of locations that have our adaptive programs.

Adaptive Recreation
Adaptive Recreation Camp is designed to provide a unique and empowering summer experience for persons with disabilities.
Kids and teens are able to interact and learn in a traditional recreational setting. Staffed with a 1-to-6 staff-to-student ratio by our Recreation Team. Adaptive Recreation Campers must have completed kindergarten.*

Traditional
Traditional summer camps include adventure, nature, fitness, athletics, crafts and reading.
Designed for campers to experience a summer to remember. All camps include guest speakers, team sports, low organized games, team building activities, arts and crafts, on-site events and FUN! Traditional summer camp is for ages 6* to 12, and the camper must have completed kindergarten.

Eco Adventure Camp
If your kid can’t wait to explore, investigate and play outdoors, then the Eco-Adventure Camp is the place for them.
This camp is perfect for children that love to learn more about the nature and world around them in a fun environment.
Eco-Adventure Camp runs from 8 AM to 6 PM, and campers must bring their own lunch.

Skate Camp
Does your kid love skateboarding or wants to learn and practice their skills? Skate Camp is the way to go!
Skate camp is designed for first-timers, beginners and intermediate skaters, and covers everything from equipment and terminology to etiquette and basic maneuvers. This camp also includes field trips, playing other traditional sports, arts and crafts, reading, and other activities. Skate Camp runs from 8 AM to 6 PM and campers must bring their own lunch. For kids ages 7 to 12 years old.

Teen Camps
Teen Camp is designed for kids ages 12 - 15 to have a place to relax around peers, meet friends, and enjoy new and exciting learning experiences. This camp offers on site speakers, creative activities, sports, team building games and adventures to encourage participants to play, laugh and learn their way through an unforgettable summer.
