 ersary of hosting Tampa’s Buddy Walk, and we’re setting our biggest goal ye
 t: $100,000 to fuel life-changing impact in our community.<br /><br />Last 
 year, because of this incredible community, we didn’t just meet our goal—we
  surpassed our $80,000 fundraising goal and raised over $100,000, a first i
 n our organization’s history. That moment proved what’s possible when we co
 me together with purpose—and now, we’re ready to do it again.<br /><br />Si
 nce its inception in 1995, the Buddy Walk® has become the nation’s leading 
 advocacy event for Down syndrome—uniting families, raising awareness, and i
 nspiring communities across the country. Here in Tampa, it’s more than just
  a walk—it’s a movement rooted in love, inclusion, and purpose.<br /><br />
 For the past 10 years, our Buddy Walk has brought together individuals with
  Down syndrome and other special needs, their families, and a community tha
 t believes in their worth, abilities, and future. But we can’t stop here—we
 ’re just getting started.<br /><br />Every dollar raised directly supports 
 the mission of FRIENDS Down Syndrome Special Needs West FL—providing critic
 al resources, meaningful programs, and unwavering support to individuals an
 d families. From early diagnosis through adulthood, we are there—empowering
  lives, advocating for inclusion, and creating opportunities where everyone
  belongs.<br /><br />$100,000 isn’t just a number—it’s therapy sessions, ed
 ucational programs, community events, family support, and brighter futures.
