Busy life getting ready for baby?
This special event is all about that much anticipated bundle of joy and conveniently combines three essential classes into one full day.
Our Understanding Infant Care and Safety class is packed with practical, evidence based information to help you feel confident and prepared for your baby's arrival. Led by one of our experienced childbirth educators and newborn care specialists, this session covers:
• Newborn traits and behaviors
• Crying and comforting techniques
• Feeding basics
• Diapering and bathing
• Common newborn health concerns
• Newborn safety and safe sleep practices
• Infant development
• Car seat safety
The second portion of the day includes an introduction to infant massage. Parents will learn gentle, nurturing massage techniques designed to support both baby and caregiver. The instructor will demonstrate each stroke using a doll, allowing you to follow along with a doll as well.
