NICU Sibling Class at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital

It is a busy time as families prepare for the birth of their child, and siblings would love to be a part of the excitement but might not know how to best help.
Our Big Sibling Class, held on the last Wednesday of the month at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, is a great way to help children ages 4 -10 get ready to become a big brother or sister. It is taught by our Board-Certified Music Therapist who is also a NICU RN.
This class will review what it means that their sibling is in the NICU, prepare them for the NICU environment, what their sibling might look like, and how to bond and interact during their NICU stay.
