Learn the basics of sewing machine options, thread, basic stitches, fabric options, and understanding how the process works.
Join us for the basics of sewing, from how to thread a machine, use various tools, types of thread, fabric, and what they are good for. In class, students will work on a small project.
Supplies will be provided, including use of our machines, scrap fabrics, and thread. Feel free to bring your own if you would prefer.
Ages 9 and up; kids and unruly adults must be able to follow along and use good judgment. We will be using sharp, pointy things.
Space is limited to the machines available.
