Hiking Spree: Twin Trails at Little Manatee River Preserve

Register for the Hiking Spree and embark on a 3.4-mile guided hike through two trails within Little Manatee River Corridor Preserve.
The 'Pennyroyal Trail' and 'Twin Pine Trail' will each take us through forested wetlands, pine flatwoods, and active restoration areas. During this hike, we will touch upon the rich history of the region, as well as the management and future of these valuable environmental corridors.
The hike will be paced for breaks to rest, rehydrate, and talk about the area.
Because you'll be hiking both trails on this guided hike, this event counts as two of your eight needed trails to earn a Hiking Spree reward!
Participants should meet at the trailhead at the Little Manatee River Corridor Preserve access point.
The event may be canceled due to weather
If you are under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult
The length of the hike is 3.4 miles
Participants must be 10 years or older
