Hillsborough County will celebrate the start of National Public Works Week by inviting residents to see and touch the trucks and equipment that help to keep the county clean and safe.
At this family-friendly event, there will be seven different County vehicles on display, including an airboat, jet vac, bobcat and walking excavator, and industrial mowing tractor. The morning will also include County representatives from Solid Waste, the Recycling Team, and Mosquito Management with free mosquito fish giveaways. Human Resources team members also will attend and share available County job opportunities.
