Full Moon Hike at Trout Creek at Wilderness Conservation Park **02/2024 No Update

Have you ever wondered what happens in our parks after dark? Find out how the night comes alive on this guided sunset and night hike.
Enjoy the sunset over the pines and wetlands of beautiful Trout Creek Conservation Park as we hike into the evening around two lakes, through pine forests, oak hammocks, and cypress domes, then across the Hillsborough river. As the night sets in and the full moon rises, we'll hope to hear and see all kinds of wildlife such as woodpeckers, owls, bats, and maybe even some alligators in the lakes.

This hike is around 3 miles and will be mostly on unpaved walking paths, roots and other hazards may be on the trail.

Meet at the main parking lot.
Weather related cancellations are possible, raincheck provided if cancelled
Minimum age requirement: 10 years or older
Under 18 must be accompanied by adult
