Hiking Spree - After Dark in the Park - Savannah Sunset Stroll at Blackwater Creek Nature Preserve

Join us for a sunset stroll through the beautiful pine savannah of Blackwater Creek Nature Preserve!
We'll keep an eye out for native wildflowers, birds, otters, deer, and fox squirrels as we ramble along the grassy trail down to the overlook at Blackwater Creek. The sun will set as we hike and we'll return to the parking lot in the dark, enjoying the sounds of the night along the way and maybe even catching a glimpse of the stars!
Participants should meet at the parking lot at the end of Patrinostro Rd.
Weather related cancellations are possible - rain checks will be provided
Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult
The trail is around 4.5 miles
There will be several creek crossings along the trail, and the trail may be wet in other places depending on rain.
