Giving Back Holiday Event at Girls and Boys With Confidence Center

Join us for our 12th Annual "Giving Back" Holiday Event
We will continue our partnership with "A Kid's Place" helping foster girls and boys by providing Shoe Box gifts filled with fun holiday presents & stocking stuffer items.
Here's how it works. Once you register, you'll receive an email with the name of a child your daughter or son will create a Shoe Box gift for. Below is a list of ideas of some gift items for your shoe box but you can do your own thing and get creative. You'll need to bring the "unwrapped" box with the gift items in it on the day of the event.
Gift Items may include:
Candy
$ Store items
Toys
Socks
Toiletry Items
Clothes
Books
Coloring or Activity Books
Sports Items
Gift Cards
Bible or Faith-based items
Inexpensive costume jewelry
Make-up, nail polish, etc.
Any other items you'd like to purchase
Activities we will do during our "Giving Back" Holiday Event include:
A short lesson on the importance of "Giving Back" to those in need
Creating a card/letter to place in the box
Making Holiday Tree ornaments for themselves and to place in the shoe box
Decorating the outside of the shoe box with rhinestones, stickers, markers, glitter and anything we can find to make it look beautiful
A fun, creative craft for them to take home
Decorating cookies or cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles to enjoy while listening to Holiday music
Karaoke singing
Hanging out and enjoying our beautiful festive center
Our "Giving Back" Holiday Event is a wonderful tradition that many have participated in year after year. We hope your kids will join us.
