Caladesi Island State Park First Day Hike

The First Day Hike at Caladesi Island State Park will lead visitors from the ranger station along scenic trails to the Scharrer family homestead. Along the way, visitors will experience the island's natural communities, wildlife, and quiet natural beauty. Rangers will share stories of the Scharrer family and the island's early history.
