Love On Top Lactation

Hi! I’m Deidra, the owner of Love On Top Lactation. I am a mother of 2 free-spirited girls whom I breastfed for 38 months combined. I am also a wife, daughter, sister and friend.

I’m an IBCLC-International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, currently serving in-person in the Tampa Bay, Florida area, and worldwide virtually. I have been supporting moms and families with breastfeeding for over 10 years. It’s kinda my thing to empower families to reach their breastfeeding goals. I am passionate about the education of infant feeding. I have a background in nutrition and love adding that aspect into our visits. Ideally, I want to talk to you about breastfeeding BEFORE your baby gets here so I can understand your wants and needs. When it is understood what is NORMAL in infant behavior, it takes some of the anxiety out of the whole feeding journey. I believe families thrive best when they have a team of professionals serving as their advisors to provide evidence-based recommendations (ie: midwives, pediatricians, doulas, and lactation professionals!). I believe the parental instincts are very strong and I aim to reinforce that instinct. When there is a new baby in the family, having skilled lactation help is so important to a healthy start for mom and baby. Let me be part of your village!
