The mission of Navigator Academy of Leadership K-8 is to enable students to be independent learners and leaders by developing each child’s intellectual curiosity and thirst for discovery through a cross-curricular integration of Science, Math, Art, Reading and Technology.
Our "SMART" curriculum delivers relevant, integrated instruction across five essential disciplines—Science, Math, Art, Reading (Literature), and Technology—giving every student a strong and well-rounded foundation for lifelong learning.
This philosophy is not new. A well-rounded education is the very principle on which the world's greatest academic institutions were founded. Before a student specializes, our focus is on the "Whole Child"—nurturing intellectual curiosity, creativity, character, and critical thinking together rather than in isolation. Educating the "whole student" reflects the same ideology championed by history's great philosophers, who understood that true education develops the "whole person," not merely a narrow set of skills. To this timeless model we add a deliberate emphasis on technology, recognizing the central role it plays in everyday life, the modern workplace, and the way we connect with the world around us.
